About Jayne
Hi, I’m Jayne — a qualified yoga and fitness instructor based in Kent, with over 20 years of experience in movement and wellness.
With 9 years of experience teaching Hatha yoga and a background rooted in dance (thanks to my mum, a dance teacher), I first qualified as an Exercise to Music instructor in 2000. Since then, I’ve combined my love for movement with a passion for helping people feel stronger, more grounded, and more connected to their bodies.

My classes are designed to be fun, friendly, effective, and restorative, blending movement with strength and stretch to support both body and mind. I welcome all ages, fitness levels, and body types — everyone is invited to move in a way that feels right for them.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me gardening, spending time with my family, or dancing to the radio in my kitchen.

Jayne has been my yoga teacher for over 7 years and is the best!Although there is a theme to the practice each term, every class is slightly different which keeps it interesting.
She is such a positive person and so enthusiastic about her yoga that you can’t help but be drawn in too.
She is very aware of all her students abilities, and will provide challenges, but also simpler options, especially if someone has an injury.
At the end of a yoga session with Jayne I feel better not only physically but also mentally. It is a very positive experience.

What I love about Jayne's classes are they are adapted to all abilities - whether you regularly do exercise, or, like me, was completely unfit and hadn't done exercise in years. I was initially worried about completing the sessions, but my fears were soon calmed by Jayne's adaptable and kind teaching style. Each week is different with differing levels of challenge. Brilliant classes with a lovely teacher!
