Classes

Jayne teaches both virtual and in-person classes (venues in Kent only) including yoga, pilates / yoga fusion, and body tone for the over 50s. 

 

Classes are designed to be fun, friendly, effective, and restorative, blending movement with strength and stretch to support both body and mind.

All courses can be attended on a pay-as-you-go rate. Also, try a free taster class for any course.

Beginner's Yoga

Virtual class (via Zoom)

This friendly Hatha yoga class offers a gentle and accessible introduction to the fundamentals of yoga. Students will learn foundational postures (asanas), simple breathing techniques (pranayama), and guided relaxation to help build strength, flexibility, and inner calm.

The class moves at a comfortable, steady pace, with a focus on proper alignment, breath awareness, and mindfulness. It’s ideal for beginners or anyone seeking a slower, more meditative yoga experience. All ages, body types, and ability levels are welcome—no prior experience needed.

Wind Down with Yoga

Virtual class (via Zoom)

Unwind and relax with this early evening yoga class designed to calm the mind and release tension, helping you gently let go of the day.

Suitable for all ability levels, the class combines flowing sequences and restorative poses, ending with a 15-minute guided relaxation to leave you feeling centered and refreshed.

Pilates / Yoga Fusion

Virtual class (via Zoom)

A revitalizing mind-body workout that combines the strength and flexibility of yoga with the core-focused precision of Pilates.

This low-impact class enhances posture, balance, and overall muscle tone through controlled movements and flowing sequences.

Suitable for all fitness levels, it’s ideal for increasing flexibility, reducing stress, and building a stronger, more centered body.

Body Tone For the Over 50s (River, nr Dover)

In-person class

A friendly, fun, and low-impact dance exercise class tailored for adults over 50. Boost your fitness, balance, and flexibility while dancing to music you love. No experience needed and no floor work—just bring your energy and a smile!

This class takes place at the River Village Hall, in River, nr Dover.

This class takes place at the beautiful, historic medieval-style Sandwich Guildhall, in Sandwich.
